Lok Sabha Elections, Voter turnout highest in West Bengal at 67.52% till 3:30 PM

Phase 3 voting of the Lok Sabha election 2019 has begun, with a total of 117 parliamentary constituencies going to poll Tuesday. The votes will be counted on May 23.
As the polling began, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote at a booth in Ahmedabad and said the voter ID (identity card) was much more powerful than the IED (improvised explosive device) of terrorists.
The Lok Sabha Phase 3 election will also decide the fate of Rahul Gandhi, who is contesting from the Wayanad constituency in Kerala.

States where polls are being held include Gujarat (26 constituencies), Kerala (20), Maharashtra (14), Karnataka (10), Uttar Pradesh (10), Chhattisgarh (7), Odisha (6), Bihar (5), West Bengal (5), Assam (4), Goa (2), one each in Jammu and Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Tripura.

    Bihar:  46. 94%
    Goa: 58. 39%
    Gujarat: 50. 35%
    Jammu and Kashmir: 10. 64%
    Karnataka: 49. 96%
    Kerala: 54. 91%
    Maharashtra: 44. 73%
    Odisha: 46. 29%
    Tripura: 60. 84%
    Uttar Pradesh: 46. 99%
    West Bengal: 67. 52%
    Chhattisgarh: 55. 29%
    Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Union Territory): 56. 81%
    Daman and Diu (Union Territory): 54. 84%
